    Finally got a 3 wheeler

Been looking for a long time. I wanted Merge's 250R, ITrikes 350X, R Nutts 350X. Had several deals fall through along the way, a couple tri-z's included. Some failed Ebay auctions, non returned calls, etc.... But finally I was able to get something by word of mouth (seems like that's the only way to do it these days)

    Here it is

Mostly original except for axle spacers, douglas rims, PSI pipe/silencer, bars, and some other odds and ends. I wanted something that looked and ran good, but still able to take a beating.

I think I'd hurt myself on one of those. I get crazy enough on the hardtails.

    Excellent!!!!

    Welcome to the waterpumper club.

Everybody should get a chance to ride a liquid R before they die.

Thanks, I'm in Springfield, IL and went to Indiana for it. I gave $1500 which I think is pretty fair for both. It's not quite as clean as I was wanting, but yesterday I beat it within and inch of it's life for about 3 hours in the mud and realized that I really don't need anything "minty." There really is nothing on this bike that I would be devistated if it broke (other than the seat maybe cause it's flawless).

I hadn't been on a 3 wheeler in about 10 years and man...it took a good 15 minutes just to start really tearing into the throttle. By the end of the day I was draining the power, taking some washed out hills and even airing it out a little. My goal was to just putt around and not eat it.....so I rode a little harder than I planned

BTW, I'm 6-9 and am amazed at how comfortable I feel as it's set up. I rotated the bars forward quite a bit which really helped, but I will still need to buy some taller bars because full locked right turns sometimes jab the throttle trigger into my knee!!!

Here are a couple more pics:

    Nice R!
I would say $1500 was a great price for that machine.
    Have fun on it.

PS. You can change your sig now.

I'll try to get some pics of me at least sitting on it. Good thing is I don't have all the weight to go with it I've been told I make a 250 look like an 80, but these long legs have kept me upright on more than a few occasions. The single biggest disadvantage is standing while riding on a MX bike. I have Deegan FMX bars on my RM and it's still not exactly comfortable when standing up while riding. With stock size bars it's impossible.

This trike though, the whole riding position is different so I just don't feel too jammed up. I'll get some taller bars, but probably try to keep the seat where it's at. If you look in my sig I have to run tall seats on my RM and DRZ.

I am so jealous that u got a waterpumper in that good of condition for the price u got! Also is it just me or does the coloring on this R look somewhat different. I cant describe it but the color is like a lighter not so shiney/bright red? Either way I am inlove with your bike!
