Yeah, the liquid R's would have to be my favorite trike, although it's a tossup between that and a 350X. But I will have a 350 soon enough, just gotta find the right one. Get yourself some tag bars or similar with a high bend, then ad the clamp conversion kit which will give you another inch or 2, then some clamp spacers if needed also.

Anyway great find, sounds like your having a blast. The only problem you will face now is what I call the [GREMLIN THEORY] I swear parts and trikes mutliply with water around these parts

I have to admit, I wasn't expecting it to have such a strong powerband for a non-pv motor like my RM. But aside from a smooth transition from bottom to top (I like a little more snap)...it makes really good power. I lugged it up a pretty nasty hill with no clutch work that would have otherwise stalled my RM. Then again, I would have attacked it a little faster on the RM

I really love 250cc two stroke power though. 250's usually crank out just about as much power as you can use, but they can be pretty forgiving if you get a case of whiskey throttle. While I can appreciate what the 350X is...and how dominant it was in its day, I really don't think I would have been as happy with one. As I was zipping around the same loop in the woods, with 3rd gear just about pinned....I realized that this would have been a hard tradeoff if I actually got a 350X.

Oh and I'm a one trike guy. This will be my 3-wheeler for a long time to come. And I'm thinking of checking out that trikefest.

I was going to say, being that tall, you would most likely prefere 2 wheelers.
Good find, that's what I payed for mine, simliar condition. I know what you mean about the power band. It is a whole other beast compared to the 350. I rode the 350 almost my entire late childhood, but when I got the R, I feel it doesn't even compare. The 350 is nice, torquey, and very dependable. But it will never be an R. Congradulations bro, welcome to the club.

I'm good for now. I need to measure what I have now and go from there. Good thing with bars is there are soooo many options. Bad thing with bars is there are soooo many options.

    I'm 6'4'" at 225. The R fits me good.
You sit on the 250R like I do. I think it fits you well.
They say the Z is roomier.
I would recommend some ape hangers.

I took those off and put on oem.
Then put them on this. They were perfect for this trike.
