    83 250r

    i would like to know what is the mix ratio for my 1983 250r i read in the manual it said 20:1 is that right

    Back then - yes.

    With todays oil you would be safe running 32:1 or even 40:1.

    Hell, alot of people run 50:1!

    Just get a good oil, like amsoil and find a ratio that works best for you and your riding style and stick to it.
