I have an extra cylinder and i thought I'd try my hand and practice a bit but I am wondering if there any "how to" articles or videos to show how to properly do it.

the Gordon Jenings or A. Graham Bell books are old but have good info on basic 2-stroke theorys. I wouldnt alter any ports until you have a full understanding of why you are doing it.. Small changes have noticable affects. Its easy to make more HP.. but its also easy to make the bike hard to ride and actually slower than before if the powerband gets too narrow. It takes special tools to get at the transfers and the exhaust is only part of a port job..
OK, thanks for the info guys. I was just pondering trying a little with an extra jug I happen to have to see if I could do it or not.
