Painting hard plastic 1977 atc90 fenders

I have a 1977 atc90 that has what appears to be hard plastic fenders. They don't look like fiberglass like the earlier models nor are they the plastic like on the 110's. The red is wearing off showing the white underneath and they have a few small cracks. First off, will fiberglass hold on this plastic and secondly can they be painted without much trouble. I know regular plastic fenders don't hold paint very well but I didn't know about this plastic.

Maybe it is. If so, Honda did a much better job on it than on my 1973 fenders. The underside is smooth compared to the rough underside on my 73 fenders. If it's fiberglass then it'll be easy to fix up.
