    oh what fun is...

    Hey

    I took my big red 200es to an atv park yesterday, covered almost 400 acres. This thing is invencible, I swear. I ordered a new carb for it off ebay, only 65 bucks, other one is shot and missing the pilot screw. I couldnt believe how its can go through such deep water as long as the neck is in the air. Also a blast riding in the 4wheeler trails, with the front wheel in the center of the mud! I also orderd parts to get my rear brake working today. My question is about tires. it has 25x13x9 wooly boogers that are pretty well worn. How do the big reds hold up with very agressive tires. I know its a shaft drive, but will it be able to take some hi-lifter outlaw type tires??? I dont want to tear up the running gear with to agressive lugs??!!???

    P.S. Buying an '83 185s tomorrow for 40 bucks with great plastic and clean gas tank

    I dont think the big mud tires would hurt the trike but i know that it would look sweet with a set of Hi-Lifter Outlaws on it.

    The outlaws would not be too hard on it but you will have to get a 12" rim. You can get vampires for a smaller rim which would probly work better, be cheaper. Also with outlaws you just want to ride mud. Sand, rocks and hardpack are awful. Sand you will dig a hole you cant get out of. I had 31" on my Arctic Cat. If i got in a sandy are i would not goose it and stay in 2 wheel drive.

    I have been running 25x13x9 Cheng Shin Lumber Jacks on the back of my 200e Big Red with no problems, except I noticed a shiny spot on my muffler from the tire.
