    need help

    Long time owner (78-110) bought a 3wheeler that the owner thinks is an 84 big red but not sure. It's a 200 has reverse, electric start, shaft drive, can't find any tags or markings on the frame. How can I find out the year of this thing. Thanks

    84 big red 200es were the only 200 with reverse. in 85 they went to a 250 with fully suspwnsion and it also had a kick start instead of the recoil

    Did someone grind them off??

    There should be a motor tag on there and a VIN on the neck.

    You guys that own these can better tell him where to look....

    That should tell you exactly what year and model it is.

    If it is an 84 and it sounds that it is and you ever want to get rid of it let me know. I have an 85 250sx that is pretty decent and would like to trade for a comparable 84 BR. I have an 83 BR and an 85 BR and would like to have one of each generation. Where are you in MI? I am near Alpena.
