    air cooled trx 250r?

has anyone ever seen a 81-84 air cooled atc 250r motor in a trx 250r chassis? Im thinking about building one of these, just wondering if its been done before. I know I gotta mod my swingarm and then just put the axle carrier in backwards.

i wouldnt go out of my way to build one, but if you have most the parts already it would be a cool play machine... I say go for it

well i'd only be using the thing for weekend trail rides and just to fart around on, a beater bike

I have most all the parts to make an R roller, minus a few small parts that I could find easy. the frame i'd be using is already a mess from a failed attemp with putting a blaster motor in it. my exhaust design didnt work good and would not let the motor run like it should. I just figured a aircooled 250r motor would work a little better since I could just use a stock 86-89 trx head pipe.

It would be interesting to see it. I agree with CR480R, I wouldn't go out of my way to build one unless you have the parts readily available.
Many quads for sale. 400EXs, Z400, 450s ect.
