    How much longer?

How much longer is the longrod on the liquid cooled 250Rs than the older short rods? I'm sure someone out there knows.

Thanks Kasey. I just hatched a plan. You can't get stock pistons for the air cooled 300 kits but you can use the trx 330 bigbore pistons in them but you have to have about 5mm milled off of the bottom of the cylinder because the deck height on the 330 piston is shorter than the stock 300 piston. Do you smell what I'm stepping in?

except, the crank angle may not work to add 5mm to it. i was looking at that ymself sicne I am getting an 81 250r, but the angle may be too steep and the rod may hit the sidewall of the cyclinder not to mention the sidelode on the piston itself may be more than it can take.

it's worth a shot to test it though. let me know if you try it and if it works. I may coppy you.
