    Yamaha 225dx Throttle help

    Would a throttle assembly and cable from an '83 ytm200 work on an '84 ytm225dx?? Anyone??

    Alright cool, just asking for any opinions before I buy one. I'm hoping it will fit cause i can buy a throttle from a 200 for 10 bucks, or one from a 225 for 40 bucks, and the 200 is even in better shape. They look to be about the same in pictures, so hopefully the 200 works out.

    think the 200 and the 225 parts are the same- at least that is what my
    shop manual says
