^ At least you are trying xer...... It isn't /wasn't always this way. I remember "rebuilding or what I called it my 85 250SX in my basement. A 5 gallon bucket of solvent, spray paint and limited tools. Not even an air compressor back then. It takes all of time and stages to get where you can operate this way but it is OOOOOOH so nice!!

Looking forward to seeing the finish product!

    Thanks XER!

Steering stem bearings are here. Hope to get it near a roller this weekend. Jim need's to order a front tire. Not looking to make some show stopper here. This is more about making a reliable unit. Jim is just going to use it for what it was intended for RIDING.

That thing looks better than new. You guys inspire me in ways that will surely lead to a divorce one day...
    Matt,
Too bad you missed out on wrenching with honda250sx. He used to live just up the street (Zelie) and came over to help me out with my trikes from time to time. Too bad he had to migrate back to NY.

Bill I sure do miss coming over and wrenching. Kept me sane while I was away from my stuff in NY. I miss wings and Straub beer too!

Not likely the machine tool supplier I was working for in Cranberry boned me pretty good. Got rid of my townhouse in Zelie and moved back to WNY.

This is exactly what you need to learn how to do there nancy. But yes i am really excited to be working on this thing again. Jeff has been a great friend and is a wealth of info. If you cant find the right tool in his garage then you dont deserve to be working on a machine.

well long story short a friend who powdercoated did the powdercoating on this sx and is nolonger in business .he had a oven large enough for a car frame. i still need some stuff coated diff skid plate, hitch.looing for engine skid plate then probably the origonal wheels in blue, i have itps on it to ride as the factory still are wearing mint stock tires i am still searching for a white headlight.bring the 350x out i ride everyday if i need something faster i can bring out my baja ds650 X, but i will say the sx is my favorite.

Just finished up wrenching in the garage with Jim for the night. Got the 200x steering stem bearings in the frame. Triples in. Assembled and mocked up the swinger for fitment. Everything went back together flawlessly. Thank goodness we had a massive service honda order of parts it really worked out great. Need to get the motor in and get the swinger and driveshaft in for good. Jim needs to order tires yet. Still waiting on a 200x front hub and some odds and ends. Here is some progress pics...
