Greenwood Lake NY

Well we finally got ice. Unless it turns 50 and starts raining, I think it will be around for awhile. On Presidents Day weekend, I will be riding. If anyone is interested in riding, chime in. We can meet at the Castle Tavern. I have a Quad and plow a track if there isn't 3 there already. It would be nice to see a group of 3 wheelers all get together here and tear it up.

My 250R never got finished, but I have a 200X that's a piece of crap, but it runs. Will also have the 110ATC, and the 360Praire out there. I've met up with a few other riders in the area, and they will coming out as well.

Not sure, but I think that weekend is winter carnival, and there is many things to do over at the Breezy Point Inn. We can ride on over there.

I will update this post, as details get clearer. I will post directions, addresses, etc.

ive been hearing that there is going to be some ice racing on greenwood lake this weekend?
i havent been on ice in a while besides messing around on some local ponds,looking fo a place to stretch out the legs on the race quad....

if you dont mind i'd ike some directions,i'll be coming from middletown.

Oops, sorry didn't see this response in time. Next time feel free to PM me if you want my attention, sorry. I guess I should have subscribed to this thread. I am used to being automatically subscribed when you start a thread. But next year, if the ice is good, we'd love to have ya. Middletown is not far. We might even ride again this weekend, if conditions prevail.

I took some video of the event. We weren't even sure it was going to happen, because of that blast of warm weather we had. The ice was all broken up around the shoreline. We ran out of places to get onto the ice, but fortunately, my beach was good to get on, so we launched from there.
