I took my YTM200 out during the october storm here in Buffalo. I rode it from my Dads house to my old apartment with a friend because my Dodge pickup on 40'' swampers got hung up on a snowbank right in front of my dads and blew the front axles and in 2wd it was worthless. This trike went through very deep snow and over snow that was so tall it completely burried cars up to their roofs. I drove it a good 10 miles that night from A---B in nothing but crazy amounts of snow with a passenger. No cars could move in this stuff, trucks buried everywhere too. I will never sell that trike.

we got 6 inches of light snow on a frozen lake and my triz was almost getting stuck, then we got another 3 on top of that and it was totally useless, even now after a lot of it has been packed down it still kinda sux. I just ordered the maxxis 4 snow tires and I will be trying them out tomarrow, i'll let you know how she does.

How are you guys going through snow over 2' deep? Is it ice? Because theres no way a trikes going through 4' of powder or wet snow even with paddles. My 200x has skat traks a few days ago and it barely went in a foot and a half.

    zzmegad,

Hey, where are you located exactly? I'm in the Western Burbs (Brookfield) and a few of my buddies are always looking to hook up with some of the local riders here. Where do you usually ride? Hit me back when you have a moment. Thanks.

1 foot of powdery snow with my ytm-225dx. I had my AMS Zipper in the rear. A couples morer inches and I would have got stuck. The skid plate was holding the snow, so much that the snow behind the front tire was following the trike. The footpegs were also covered in snow.
