    here's some pics of the stages my tecate went through i've only had her 9 months

    1985 Tecate bt ported KX cylinder, reed spacer, motoplat ignition, 39mm PJ carb, UFO airbox, +2 swingarm, Works shock, +6 axle


    1984 Tecate Klemm Research ported KX cylinder, 41mm Mikuni, steering stabilizer, +2 Westcoast (Had this one since 1988)




    The day I got it 20+ years ago
    Rides:
    1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
    1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
    1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

    I really want a 2nd gen Tecate. I would probably trade my 84 and 85 and parts for a good running 2nd gen.

    Nice tecates guys!!! I might snap some current photos of mine.. but its so hacked and butchered these days I dont even know if it should be considered a tecate anymore..

    I really wanted one too. Now that I've got one I'm not so crazy about the idea. The 84-85's will always be my #1. Simple, dependable, and FAST!

    I figured I was the only one that prefered 1st gen. Tecate over the 2nd. Since 1988, I've had two '86's, one '84, and four '85's.
