Bought it rode it twice in a parking lot with paddles on it, made sure everything worked, then had to put it in storage because I moved into
a new shop, but now this pesky tiger im workin on stole its spot.

Has an LA Sleeve 300 kit, ported, PWK, some unknown pipe and silencer
    and a +6 swingarm.

I want the CalFab aluminum short track tank.

BigGreenMachine: Is that disk guard on your Tecate made for the tecate? Or were you able to find something close and fab it up? I would really like to find one of those for my 85. My 84 has a Maier one.

Those are Maier 85 Tecate fork guards. Got those a few years ago for cheap on here or .org.

500 with an 89 KX250 tank. I like it better in my above pics therefore thats how it will be built.

    Greatest trail rider ever.

LOL Not so top secret anymore! Nice how the swingarm just bolts to those frames, with the addition of the linkage mounts of course.

    Nice!

What year is that? 87-88 KX 500? What year swinger bolts up to it? How hard was it to get the trees and forks on the frame?

    Wow!!

How do you guys like those Hi-Flite seats with the longer pad on to the tank?

In the pic it's an 88 kx250 not a kx500 but is still quite a bear to deal with when you get on the pipe. 86 kxt trees and forks bolt right on with very little modding. I used a 1st get t3 swinger and axle. had to make a custom shock mount but like BGM said sprockets and piviot bolt right on and line up.

    Hi-flite seats rock btw.
