I think the forks and swingarm are a good idea, but the plastic doesnt appear to fit well... Do you have an '86 frame? you should start a thread on this

mjquadracer- Awesome bikes and awesome pics. Back in 1986 I drew a picture of Jimmy White on his Tecate sideways in pen on paper. My mom took me to a Mickey Thompson race at the Anaheim Stadium. They had a meet and greet on the track, where I got it autographed. It's around here somewhere, I'll have to dig it up.
    Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

I had to mount the radiators above the pipe so the tank sits higher then stock. Otherwise, the plastics fit pretty good. If i could get a custom pipe that ran lower, I could mount the rads lower and it would look a lot better, I think. But, the way it is now, it has full turning radius and everything fits.

I do have an 86 but it has a broken subframe and no engine. Unfortunately, my budget doesn't allow for me to get those things right now.

A DG isn't on level with a Bassanni, but I'll be be glad to replace my stocker with a DG.....when you get ready to sell yours. Just say "when".

Are tecates a 2 stroke? if so, remember to break it in gently.
    Nothing to ride... for now
