    The carb,cylinder and clutch are from a DT 175. The transmission is a mix of Dt and tri-moto. The back of the swingarm is from a 85 250r and i had to machine a half inch sprocket spacer. I finished the trike 3 weeks ago and did not ride it much but i can say it's much more stable.

    Danaz, That sure is a tough angle for that shock to be working at it's fullest. A nice design for the most part though. I think I have seen pics of this trike before, I just can't remember when or where.

    Wow, that's impressive Danaz, how much trouble was it to get 200X front end on the 175? Are the steering stops different on the 200X front end than the YT175's? Very cool machine!

    Hey, Danaz did you have to change the stock Tri-moto connecting rod to run the DT175 parts on the engine?

    What year DT did you use? Were you able to use the DT clutch cable? I was wanting to put a clutch and twist throttle on my 175 but dont know what cables to use.

    For the 200x front end i use the tri-moto race and bearing and there is no steering stops for now but it can easily be done.
    I use the stock tri-moto 125 crankshaft.
    The year of the DT is 1980 and i use the DT clutch cable. The cable pass over the bar and tank cover and under the seat.

    I have the same bike (pics on page 2), but I was told on this site that it was a 225DRS not a DR whenever I posted some pictures of it.

    They are both a 225DR, the "S" is just a year designation. Yamaha used the letter codes as follows.

    G = 1980
    H = 1981
    J = 1982
    K = 1983
    L = 1984
    N = 1985
    S = 1986

    1972 Honda CT 70
