I know 3 wheeled ATV's cannot be sold new from a manufacturer in the US. Was there a similar law enacted in Canada? I seached around online a bit and couldn't find much of anything.

Well they can be sold in the US as of 1998. It was only a 10 year ban. Not sure about Canada.

I'm 99% there was never a ban of importation of 3 wheeler in Canada. Probably that after the U.S. signed the consent decree the Canadian market was just not big enough for the manufacturer to sell new trike in Canada.
