See DC, its all still out there. Dont rule out anything, not the 87 250r, 88 USA trikes or anything really.. its all out there, even if one was made..

The way I think of it, is; If it was built... theres a chance. All these rare parts, all these mythical pieces, all the rare offroad toys, If just one was made, then it can be out there. There was a Pilot owner in Mexico that bought a atc 250r and said he had white plastics from the factory. This was during one of the Baja1000's. When I lived in Australia, the 1988 Super Red was used in many vineyards and farms. Then when I got my first ATC and found this site and say the Quest for the 88 ATC's and 87 ATC's... I laughed my ass off =P

Again, Cant wait to see your builds and these parts getting a new life. Hopefully I will be getting a ex-racing 86 250r this week with about 7 plastic totes full of extras..
    Nothing to ride... for now

Well...... we never discussed a TIGER NOS surplus or it's availability before, I mean it HAD to go somewhere!? Tiger parts have shown up from time to time no matter what year they were manufactured....... They also weren't "imported" like the others.......

I'll stand by my thoughts that we'll never see any imported 87 and up trikes, aside from the known models we've seen. I'll always believe that they were all destroyed and nothing has shown up thus far. I do appreciate your enthusiasm though

BACK TO THE AWESOME TIGER FIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets keep the "mystery" missing Honda's to another thread.

This is a huge surplus and an incredible find! and I'd imagine allot of research went into this find.

I'm not sure if Tiger 3wheelers were manufactured and or available in 1987?? Any input on that OC??

Did you get any engines OC?? or just engine parts??

I want to see that shift drum up close if you could. It looks machined from raw tubing, rather than the cast drums were use to seeing. I just caught a glimpse of it though, I could be way off.

Not a whole lot of Super 4 stuff, Part of the head pipe (unfinished) a plastic piece I am not sure of...prototypish , front hubs, discs, and a tie rod.

Raffa good to see you back on here again!!!

As far as TIGER NOS this is probably as good as it gets but there is definetly more small pockets of it left out there. Some here posted a while back they had some plastics in TX from a closed dealer but didnt want to sell it. I have been in contact with someone else who has the contents of a closed dealership and we have been trying to determine what inventory he has. When speedbump came across the tiger 500 4 wheeler conversions....A few NOS pieces....from racers/dealership. All the little dealerships that closed may or may not have had a parts inventory in stock. The other pockets of NOS parts are racers who stocked up and never used the parts. There is definetly more tiger NOS parts just waiting to be found!!

Not a whole lot of research for this find.... alot of organizing and working out the details of various transactions...actually the Mickey Dunlap protype buyout found me it doesnt get better than that.

I will be posting his interview (Mickey's) with me later in the week on the TIGER webpage after I get it typed up proper. Pretty cool stuff. I often think back how hard I struggled just to find my first tiger...Now all of this...doesnt seem real sometimes.

Very cool to see all of this stuff. I always like checking out your posts because so many people have collections and they just hoard stuff and never let anyone see it, or even tell people that it exists, TC...

Man OC, this is awsome. If you don't mind, maybe this summer, the OTC gang can make a trip out to NY just to see your awsome collection. I know for me it would be worth the dirve. Congrats on the score man,

Yes I got a PM from him today, I have been in contact with him a few times over the past couple of years.

I just was reviewing the tiger page, I counted 83 already and its not even close to done yet. I should be posting the Mickey Interview very soon. I think it may hit 120 -150 tiger pictures by the time I'm done.
