    Found another Polaris 250 Scrambler

    Well I bought another one...this ones way nicer than the first one I got.....No motor though....$150 !!!!! Here she is

    Does anyone know whats supposed to go on the side of the gas tank....there are two threaded holes on each side

    The space on the tank with the 2 holes is for a 'POLARIS' logo.

    Yea I thought it was a good deal....Now i have a dilemma.....Do I make one really nice one between the 2 or do I get both of them up and going......

    I would try and get them both going...back half of the machine is the same as the air cooled Polaris 250 4 wheelers, which are more then abundant, and the front end is the same as a Yamaha 225dx, so I think you could easily make 2 runners out of them.

    Would be cool to have 2 of them.....everyone who sees them dont think they are really polaris......or they didnt know they made them.....and I have 2....

    You shouldn't have any problems finding engine parts, or complete engines.

    The nickel and dime stuff, those logos for example, will be harder to find.

    I thought they only made those for a year or two, and when they came out, 3-wheelers where on their way out.

    make one nice one, and then cut as much weight as you can on the other and put a BIG triple sled engine in the other for the first P3 drag bike built...
