    Bought a good running ATC110 for $100

I wasn't really looking for this but it was a deal I couldn't pass up. I got it from the original owner. It has those fork extentions, newer seat cover and he just put brand new rear wheels and tires from Honda on back, they have not been ridden on. The carb was leaking then the pull start rope pulled out and he had enough of it. I had some bulk pullstart rope laying around and a brand new Big Al's pull rope handle. I'm pretty good with the recoils frow owning ATC200's so I had that fixed in 5 minutes. It started up fairly easy and the carb bowl gasket is just leaking, no big deal. I put about 10 minutes on it, tried out the gears, hi/low etc. Everything works even the brakes. The paint sucks but it wipes right off with laquer thinner, I mean it comes right off. The tank decals are still in tact under the paint so hopefully it comes back ok. We actually have around 8 complete ATC110s just sitting around that we have not messed with so parts are abundant for me. Anyone know what year it is? 78 to 80 maybe? Or how do I tell?
I had also picked up a ATC70 parts bike for $50 on Wednesday and was able to get another one of my ATC70s going good with parts from it. So I went up 2 rideable 3-wheelers in 3 days for $150, not a bad week.

That's sweet man. I've asked people before and nobody replied- what do those fork extentions do?

Oh, I see. I guess that makes sense. Every time I touch the throttle on my 110 it launches skyward...

Ha ha. I have no idea on the purpose of those extensions. We have another 110 that has them too.
My first 3-wheeler ever was a 1982 ATC200 and it had them. But someone had hit something and bent the forks way in. So in that case it needed them to move the front tire forward otherwise it would have been hitting the down tube on the frame.
