normally like 1.5 turn's out .. kinda like the BIG Bikes ... it work's with the Idol along with the Zero to 1/8 Throttle Responce ... some times you have to clean the pilot jet out with a Torch cleaner or a strand of speaker wire ..

well then turn it out two turn's ... some motor builder's do "certain" thing's to carb's to keep the screw's in close so they won't Vibrate out... especially when your on the line and you want it Right for the Perfect Holeshot ... How Bout's It Raffa ?

Nathan, I'm talking about how big the air gap Is under the slide with the throttle in the closed position. I have seen so many times where people are trying to get something to Idle correctly, but just have no clue how to do It. If you have the slide set way up with the Idle adjuster screw, then your air screw will need to be way In. If you start at 1.5 turns out like Ronnie suggested, then turn the Idle screw (the one that pushes the slide up) until It will Idle on It's own, then fine tune with the air screw. All engine's will need a slightly different adjustment to be just right. The Adjustment screws on the zinger are hard to get to with the plastic on.

I use a drill bit to set multiple carbs. I've tuned on banshee's that don't run for crap. The first thing I do Is slide a 1/8" drill bit under the slide, and set the Idle screw to where the drill bit Is just slightly pinched under each slide, then make sure there Is enough slack In the cable when the throttle is closed. Then open the throttle all the way, to make sure the slide Is opening all the way. Fine tune with equal turns on each carb!!! Most of the time you will find that one carb wants a bit different setting to be just right. You can't just figure that 2 turns out will work on every Zinger, If you want yours to run to It's fullest, you need to listen and tweek, then ride & tweek, then start & stop & tweek , then hit the gas & let off real quick & tweek, TWEEK TWEEK TWEEK & TWEEK

    Jason,

Do you have pictures of your cr60 trike with zinger parts? I'm curious to see just what we can do with these zingers.

I didn't use that many Zinger parts on my CR60 zinger. I used the plastic, seat & top frame backbone. The rest Is CR60 & custom made. I don't think Nathan would mind If I posted up a couple Pic's.

The black rectangular shaped part Is all that I used from the zinger frame. That was just so I could use the zinger tank & plastic.
