Looks like a KX frame? Is that pipe cut and rewelded?

sorry guys, hope that above post didnt come across as rude...
just ALOT of pics I just posted, if you can tell by my post count,
I dont post all that much. let alone a whole page of photos.

The frame was modded for a CR500 from the guy I got it from, he
built the downtubes. they are just tacked in. He said he had it
running and ridable a LONG time ago, and sold the 500 to a freind
that needed it. so he never completely finished it.

He did tell me it had a 300cc motor in it, but it lost a stator, so he put
KX 125 ignition on it, and said it was a monster, but the curve was all
wrong, and it wouldnt rev out, and the crank bearings were going on it.
so he pulled it, and I guess it got full of water in his barn so he threw it
away, because he didnt want to try and split the cases.

I was also told that this bike was raced by a guy named Steve Abbot, in the
Mickey Thompson Series. The guy I got it from said he bought it from a
motorcycle/threewheeler shop in Las Vegas, called Cycle Works? or something like that back in the 80s, and that they built the swingarm for it. HH

Is that pipe made to hook up to the centered exhaust port or is it made to fit the offset exhaust that the 84/85 T3's had? If it is the offset, want to sell it?

On another note... Steve still owns a shop here in Vegas, but just on his personality alone I will not do business with him... HE'S A COMPLETE TOOL!!!!

Met him once at his shop and he told me of his racing career on trikes, but all the while he literally thumped me in the chest about 3 times in 10 minutes.... PERSONAL BUBBLE!

I pretty much gave up on trying to speak to him about it... guess he's a busy guy,
I did catch him for a minute on the phone, he was polite, and told me to call him back, and I even left a message for him with my number, needless to say after about 120 minutes on hold i quit trying. but you're not the first to tell me he's a little difficult to deal with, to put it nicely. lol HH
