    Carrie's 1981 ATC110

Ever since TF '08 my wife has been asking for a 110.
She already had a 70 (a bit too small) and a Recon (too many tires).
Over New Years, we acquired this cute little bugger in a 3-way trade involving the front of a quad and some rolled change.
These pictures are taken before any work has taken place - just gave her a bath and snapped these.

Of course this is a rider (as are all our wheelers), but I will fix it up as nice as possible without spending a fortune. It runs just fine as it is.

So far we have: rebuilt the carb, degreased the motor, removed the hitch, put on new fuel lines and filters, and have rear bearings on order.

Some controls and lighting will need replaced to make it factory-ish. I think I will actually replace the rear stickers and give the rims some love too.

I will keep this thread updated progress is made. It should be looking sharp by TF09. If you want to check it out, do so before the poker run when it will be covered in mud.

Nice! I love the smaller utility trikes. I've had a 125m and 185s.

I've been thinking of parting out my 110. But it's a 84. I want to fix up my 84 125m. It is in so much better shape.

Cool Jason, and thanks, that little sucker hauls!! I am impressed how super clean the rear axle and some other parts are.
The throttle works fine, but there is currently no kill switch hooked up. I am going to get an ON/OFF & LIGHTS ON/OFF assembly for the left side handlebar to put it in original form.
That throttle is in nice shape, but it was meant for another machine. Early ATC90? It will end up on something.

it is original. actually the 1981 atc 110's came with the on off kill switch assembly on the thumb throttle. 83 was the 1st year for it on the left side handlebar.

are you interested in the cable i'll ship it to you for $10.

Very interesting. Perhaps that is the original headlight, too?
Thanks anyway on the cable. I already have new MotionPro cables on order.

Actually the 1982 ATC110 has the headlight / on/off cluster on the left side. 1981 is a peculiar year as it was the only year they did that and the only year they incorporated the on/off headlight switch on the square headlight bucket like the older ones had on the round steel headlight bucket. It looks like the 185s in 1981 had that same headlight as well - but the larger ATC200 had the left side handle bar cluster like all later years.

Very interesting to me as I never knew this before!
