    350X crankshaft help

so here's the deal, this past july i was riding my X when i noticed a noise at mid to high rpm so i shut it down and it has sat until today.thinking it was in the top end i tore into it,everything looked perfect so i keep going ,off comes the jug and all related hardeware all looks well,i pull the wrist pin and remove the piston to check for excessive play in the crank seems good.then i notice on the underside of the piston that there are small marks where something has impacted it......so i split the case still cant find anythong that is suspect although there is metal everywhere.now the whole engine is completely disassembled and stilll no sighn of any bearing failure????my only suspect bearing is the crank bearing, when i look at it as close as possible i notice that there seems to be several needle bearings missing, should there be needle bearings 360 on the rod jornal or is this normal??with out having anything to compare to i dont have a referance any help would be appreciated.

now if this is the problem is there any crank that will interchange with this or am i stuck with another stock crank?

Hmmm, wish I had that motor in my hands.....

    Keep looking around, something DIED!

The lower big end (rod) bearing definitely has needles, but WHY did that fail? Thats very odd? If you lack oil on a 350X, you lose the cam journals 1st.

I wonder if they were tired from the past owner? Got some pics? I've never seen a 350X crank go bad myself......... Unless it ran HC pistons and race gas etc etc.
