Thanks. Ill have to contact that seller to see if he has any blue ones left. Doesnt look like they are readily available.

for cheap cleanup - i would sand/polish those lower forks and paint that pipe. I ended up painting my frame with "ed" paint for a quick cleanup as well. The charcoal color came out nice on mine and the texture hides a lot.

    Just talkin......

I got this stuff called alum bright and it will shine the fool out of stuff. So going to try to do that on the forks as painting something like forks doesnt seem to last in woods riding and such unlesss you powder them. The pipe will be painted this is just the second wave of the build. The third wave, will be completed parts wise and running. Then I will tear it down to rebuild the bottom end of the motor (shifter shaft and sprocket shaft replacement). That is why I will clean it up some more but like stated, I am no trying to go for a prize or restore. It is just going to be a nice looking rider.

nice build coming together real nice!
A Rental Car is the only true all-terrain vehicle.
" I actually think it is good that you have clubs where people can go and enjoy riding these things together. It reminds me of how the prisoners on death row have fun waiting for their turn on the electric chair. Fair enough, the trike isn't an electric chair, but it is about as safe and comfortable as one."

[QUOTE=ScottZJ;705614] But I think when its all said and done, it should be a really nice rider, no show queen here.....tired of lookers, I want riders.

I dont now man, looks a show queen to me.. That thing looks sweet.. Ive seen your bikes and work all your bikes are show worthy.. What you will have is a show bike that you ride,, if you can ride it when its done. lol.

You going to be at TF this year, havent seen you in a while man..

Did you get that roller with the wierd front tire off the Kansas City craigslist? There was one on there that I'd been watching and about the weekend that I could have possibly made it up there the ad mysteriously dissappeared. I think the guy had it listed as a 'ducati' three wheeler. It was going to be a donor for my KX500, probably dodged a bullet...

Yeah believe it or not I was the one that snagged it. He kept it for me for around 3 months before I could pick it up. Bad thing is I really only got it for the rear end and tank lol. But it was worth it, as I wouldnt have those parts now if I didnt. Once this is completed, I am sure I will sell the other frame and front it (its an 85 front end).

Tecate's looking great, Man. I'm so glad to hear of another one being restored to RIDE. I'm waiting on a new carb for mine. Anything else I do will be strictly to make it reliable/rideable. I just can't justify museum pieces and garage queens in economic times like this!

Well was going to wait for the nicer hub to come in from Jim but I had to get this sucker on the ground and roll it around. I am stil waiting for the headlight bracket (headlight and plastic just zipped tied there) and a few minor things but its pretty much ready to get all the wiring set up and some fuel in it. Not bolting the shrouds totally up yet cuz got another nice tank coming in but thats about it. The pipe is either getting ceramic coated or a new one to give it the super nice look.
Not a show queen but I think turned out pretty nice considered I started with a frame and motor haha. Here some sunshine pics finally.
