    Carb problem

Took my 350x out for a little ride. It was running great except my oil cooler was still leaking. Got back to the house and put it away. Later went out to clean out the shed. Moved it outside for a few. No wet spots on the floor. Shed all cleaned out so I decided to rip around on the 350 again. Walk over to get on and start and there is gas pouring out of the bottom of the carb. I turn the petcock off and it stops. Check drain screw and bottom nut and there tight. Turn petcock on and it starts pouring out of the drain. I pulled the carb off and everything looks clean and no clogs that I can find. Is it time to by a carb rebuild kit or should I rip it apart and clean everything. Never had it apart before and never had a problem.
    Any suggestions would be great.

your float needle is sticking or there is some junk in there...tap the carb bowl with a ....it may stop it...

you may be fine afterwards but you can take it apart and clean it first, if that doesnt work, just grab a rebuild kit and have at it.

i hate taking 4 stroke carbs off, so i try the method first. if that doesnt work, then i just grab a kit and do it all at once so i dont have to take it off 2 times because it sucks

Sometimes you can just get away with shooting carb cleaner down the fuel line into the carb while the bike is running. I've gotten away with this method a few times after sinking my old SX... just because I hate ripping carbs off and cleaning them.

I pulled the carb and took the bottom off. Everything seems fine. I will throw it back on later and see what happens.
