    New trike owner (yamaha). Help?

So I'm new here, and new to trikes in general.
    I just picked up a Yamaha 125 and 175.
The 125 (tri-moto?) runs, but I can't seem to be able to pull start it, it just won't fire. But the guy drove it here and said he push started it. How do I do that, and can it be done with just one person?
The 175 tri-moto is in parts at the moment, and the engine needs to be rebuilt. After suffering multiple kick-backs from trying to start the 125, I've decided I want a kick start. Is one easy to put on? And the foot pegs are also broken off and one missing, can I buy new ones?
And what kind of mods can I do to these things. I would like to get more power out of my 175 for sure, but what can I do, and what can be done to them other than motors.

Thanks for any help guys, I've never even driven a trike before, so I look forward to taking them for a ride. I hope I like them.

    pUSH START

Welcome..... awesome sight for new triker!!! These guy's will help you out with all of your needs. As for the push start, you can put it in neutral and get some momentum....jump on seat and put it in gear at same time ot put trike in a higher gear with it switched on and begin pushing that way? It would be easier if you had a buddy or your wife... just joking, push you while you were on it just to get it running. Sorry, don't know much on the Yamaha side of thing, Honda 70 freak here..... good luck and welcome.

Oh yeah, try cleaning the carb and putting a new spark plug in it also check compression, if you still can't get it to fire try pull starting it behind your 4 wheeler

I have started my trimoto 125 a different way before. Put it in first, grab the rear grab bar or axel pick it up push it for a few feet drop it.Works good when you don't have a hill.

If the 125 is kicking back alot when you are trying to pull it over, its possible that the timing is off. I don't think a kickstart can be put on a 125 or 175 trimoto engine. As far a mods go, you will have to talk to vealmonkey or someone else on the board with a tricked out trimoto.

I will make sure to check the timing when I get it running. And I'll post up pics next time I see the thing, it's sitting in the back of my bronco right now (kind a tight fit lol).
And I'll make sure to send him a message.

Does that come off of a motorbike?
And here are some pics, I'm assuming the guy before me swapped the skins and front end, because the one that says 175 is actually a 125.
The 175 right now is in parts, I just put the wheels on (gonna bolt up the front end tomorrow as long as all the bearings are there)

The 125 we were going to try to start today, but the tires are low on air, and it was too cold for our old compressor to start up
