I have an 85 Tri-z with 5 gears and a 350x with 6 gears. Does the 86 Tri-z with 6 gears wind out like the 350x. The 85 at top end feels like it's being held back some but the 350x loosens out in 6 and runs on. Does the 86 Tri-z loosen out in 6 or does it still feel held back somewhat.

New to the board
I rode an 86 Z and it seemed to wind out in 6th. Sort of comparable to the X, but 2 entirely different animals. But to the best of my memory, I'm pretty certain it wound out up through the RPMs. Didn't feel held back.

my 86 winds out great but good luck findin a 86 tranny u need it all input output ,shifting forks and shiftcam/drum
