whats the best way to get baked mud off a header, the stock finish under all the dirt looks real nice, so I dont want to use abrasives?

HOTSY hot water pressure washer if ya know someone that has one? Guarenteed to come off, be careful, may take paint as well if you do not move it along generously........... also I have used oven cleaner on my stock 70 pipes, they were no show pieces though, careful of finish with that stuff..... good luck

I do not have a pressure washer or plumbing out in my barn,...so I've used a "garden sprayer"...you know,...the type you can put 2 gals in and pump up and spray,...well,...when my trikes get mudded up {after TrikeFest '08-Indiana Concrete Mud}...I would put some Simple Green and a gallon of water in it,..pump it up,...spray it...let is soak,...spray it with just water in the sprayer, again and again,...it doesn't offer "TOO" much pressure, leaving your paint in tack,..it does get the job done, with a little patience.......Jared200x

Please tell me you didn't leave that "DEATH" mud on this long

    That stuff was horrible!!!!!!

Thats the best part about TF guys, there is one garden hose for 2000 people...............

Sadly, if they had the sense to put in pressure washer bays, they'd make allot more $$ than they do from the 14$ a day to stay there.

Thanks Haspins for the athletes foot!!! even with sandals!!!

"Death Mud" got clean Fully the day after we got back to Pa from TrikeFest,...next year I plan to take that sprayer w/ me so I don't have to wait in the hose line like I did that week,...but that Indiana mud ruined my wheel bearings,...that clay is like lapping compound........
