    sanford and son style purchase

i feel like i should be on sanford and son with all the junk i got today. cleaned out a guy of 3 wheeler parts. i got a running 200x, another 200x with a 200s motor that needs some work, a 200x frame, a 185s frame, a 110 frame, multiple engines (200x, 200s, 185s, 110), multiple tires and wheels, misc forks, misc tanks, and a crapload of small parts (calipers, brackets, etc). also, there is a tank for a 200x that isn't right. it doesn't have the area for the air scoops. is this a homemade weld up job, something that was produced, or is it for something other than a 200x?

gota love it when more and more parts just keep loading up in the trailer and pickup bed huh. I wonder whats up with that tank too? definately looks produced or something stock that was modified rather than built from scratch. What did the lot set ya back if you dont mind spillin the beans?

looks like a homemade short track tank. that way you can grind your steering stops a lot more and the forks wont hit the tank. great score btw!

? Looks like a modded 200x tank to me. Unless you are talking about the plastic tank?

No.. Thats a stock 200x tank thats been cut for short trac like he said.. Louis on the boards here has one too.. Just something they did back in the day.. Phase Five made one but it was fiberglass or plastic..

That is a very hice haul,, ive found a few of those clean outs myself, but they are drying up as more people get into the trikes..

If you want to get ride of that tank id be interested.. Freaks

I probably overpaid but I gave the guy what I consider fair market value. $775. Figure $375 for the 200x, $250 for the auto x, and $150 for the parts which might be enough to build another bike.

Id call that a good score. See the plastic clarke tank on the one 200x? I sold the same tank on ebay for 175 bucks. You have parts galore going on over there. You could probably sell stuff and get a free trike outta the deal no prob with some spare parts to boot!

Can you post a pic of your tank on a trike? I plan on keeping the tank cause I like the lines better withou the air scoops but out of curiosity, how much is something like this worth?
