    85+ 250r carb bolt on for 83-84?

    The 85+ 250r carb was 34mm, and the stock 83/84 was... 27mm I believe.

    Is the newer one a simple bolt on replacement?

    With my new pipe and reeds I think this would make a nice upgrade. Speaking of which, I'll need to find the proper jet size for these mods...

    Now to find one...

    The stock carb for the 83/84 250r was a 30mm so you'll either have to stretch your stock boot or buy a 1985 odyssey fl350 boot which was built for a 34mm carb.

    Is it worth the upgrade with a DG pipe and the Boyesen Pro reeds? Or is the stock 30mm sufficent?

    As for the 27mm, maybe that was the first gen 250r I was thinking about.
