    adjusting clutch screw on 84 trx200

    On a 1984 Honda trx 200 I was wondering if there is a better way to adjust the clutch screw on on the side of the clutch cover than what the owners manual states. I may not be doing it quite right. I back it to the left till I feel it tighten then turn it back to the right 1/4 turn. But how do I know if I have turned it back to the left far enough to begin with before I go back to the right 1/4 turn?

    I did this this weekend- I followed the manual and it seemed to work just fine. Shifting was better (according to my wife.) Probably the only time it had ever been adjusted. IIRC, it backed off about 1/2-1 turns before getting tight, then I went back 1/4 turn.
