23x8x11 tires are hard to find

Went to my local powersports place to get a new front tire... the one I had was a Dunlop 23.5x8x11. I guess the stock size is 23 though.

There really wasn't much to choose from in that size. Kenda and Cheng Shin made some really lame 80's looking treads; and both were only 2 ply.

I ended up with a Carlisle 4 ply tire. Semi-aggressive but should be fine.

I pick the rim up at the end of the week along with my rears with my new Holeshots.

Having them do the front bearings and seals while they have it... mine were wasted.

So, pics to follow soon, but just wondering what others are running for front tires.

I get the stock dunlop front tire from marshall. Most atv shops have a marshall catalog. Only a marshall dealer can order it though. I know Dennis Kirk also has them.

Yeah I just got a Kenda Pathfinder 23x8x11 for the front of my tecate, as it was very hard to find something I would like, that wasnt stupid expensive. It looks ok and not too agressive for a front tire.

    86-87 Tecate ROCK!

Ride fast...........brake late............and Slide the rear!

It's too bad nobody ever made a true 'bolt on without mods' 10 inch front rim for our trikes.

Like Scott I'm running the Kenda Pathfinder 23x8x11 on the front of my 350x. It grips well, I'm happy with it.

I just got a PathFinder from Denis Kirk, like $46.99 + $5 extra shipping with my +$100 order. It worked out good, DK had the best price on chain and sproket set. Those and the tire got me to $100 for free shipping.

KENDA MAX, but I'm not opposed to those other knob styles, they look like they'll hold a corner!!
