DO NOT send any thing to whats his face (dirt-face/crasher) here on the board. What a scum bag. He screwed (stole) money from me and screwed me on my ME360 and Hondaline 300R engine rebuilds.

I compared the brake mount in the pic to the 81 and 82 WC I have and it doesn't look right.

It isn't a Westcoast. But it's only made for the '81, won't work on the '82.

Then does the brake mount look right to you for a 81?

Yes. The brake mount is right for an '81. The drum brake on an '81 uses a pin to keep it from rotating and keeps it located on the swingarm. I have a Cal-Fab for my '81 and that's all it has. ( it suck because I would have liked to use it on my '82) The '82 has a different mount for the caliper. Some of the swingers made in and after '82 for the 250R made them so they could fit either the '81 or the '82.

well it would 'work' on an 82 if you didn't mind not running rear brakes.

Been watching this since it was first listed. Nice item!

At a quick glance, I think it does look like a PK. I have an aluminum DG swingarm for my 1982, so I know it isn't that. I can't figure how you can have a new swingarm, in the box and it doesn't have any decals or labels on it. No matter what kind it is, it is still a nice piece.

My Dico +3 has the mounts for both drum and disc..I have an 81 and am going to run the drum.I have been watching it also.I guess we will have to see who has the deepest pockets????? I already have a swinger, but would rather have one made just for the 81 year.If I do win,my double year swinger will be for sale...
