1983 ATC 200 Chain and Rear Sprocket

I am restoring a 1983 Honda ATC 200, ground up restoration. I can find the rear sprocket (47 tooth) from Honda for $100 but the chain is not still available. What about after market? Any ideas?

Looks like it's a 520 x 90 links chain. They have some of those on Dennis Kirk.

If it's not an O-ring chain (I'm not familiar with the chain drive models yet) take the old chain to a John Deere, Case IH, or any other tractor dealership and they can cut it to legnth off of a bulk roll. It will probably be cheaper. Hope this helps.

It is an O ring chain. I'm not sure of the purpose of the O-rings, I assume its to keep water out. Even though this thing will be restored, I do not plan to use it in water, just running fields and trails with my daughter on her quad. I dont see what would be wrong with running a standard chain, sized and rated for the sprockets.

Nah I buy non o-ring chains since they are cheaper.

You might try a bearing warehouse ,also. I boight some chains for a Polaris I was working on a few years ago. I also bought some replacement bearings for it for about half price of Polaris. Hope this helps.

Just spoke to sales at dennis kirk and going home to count the links in the chain so I can order the correct one. Is there a way to ensure its a 520, is this number embossed on the old chain somewhere.

They have the O-ring 520 which I'm happy to buy, not trying to throw away $ but would like to have it as close to original as possilbe.

Also, has anyone found a replacement for the old chain guide? Mine is worn to the metal. The original owner bought the trike in 1983 and ran the sh!t out of it at the Outer Banks, NC and did no maintenance. NOTHING. Bike may not have been worth rebuilding but I hated to scrap it so it is what it is. What about the chain guide, do you think I can remove the remaining plastic/teflon material and add another piece by rivoting it on?
