What do you guys think? might trade for 84 250R

I put my banshee project up on craigslist for trade for a 3 wheeler of some sort, and got this offer. I have 300$ buying the shee and about 150$ in parts so far, not counting the seat I recovered, but about 450$ total. It needs the engine rebuilt (new crank, pistons, bored) and shocks mainly. The 250R I dont know much about other then it needs new rear plastics, and it has massive mud tires on it. Has an aftermarket pipe of some sort (Bassani??) and maybe a carb, cant really tell from the pics. Im really considering trading for the R but I thought Id get everyone elses input first.

Is there anything to look for on these s? Ive never messed with one so I dont know about any common problems they might have.

    Anyways heres the pics:

X2! It looks like the motor has been rebuilt recently, or at least repainted.
    Rides I own:

Well the guy is supposed to call me back at 4:30 and let me know. Ill keep you guys updated.

Also, does that axle look extended, or is it just wide rims? I cant decide what it looks like to me.

cut fenders unless I'm going crazy...and hub extensions...looks to be a stock axle.

I'm in agreement with you on the pipe and doing it. It's a no brainer.

Update?! I really hope you grab it. The more of these Foolers we can 'locate' and nurse back to health the better.

Thats why I urge all Fooler owners, regardless if you like me or not - please contact and allow us at s.com to put your ride in the readers ride section - we wanna get as many of these foolers accounted for as possible!

One thing that I see that is a little unusual for the 83-84 foolers . Both tank shrouds are in one and piece on the tank.

that's one place I always wanted to drive to...alaska. Idk if the scion can make it though...do they have good roads the whole way?

That is 600-1000$ in fuel roundtrip...lol. 4k miles...one way. It would be the most bad ass roadtrip in the history of road trips though.
