Some help with restoring a 1985 Honda 110 Atc

The first question that i will ask is do you have any hints, tips or tricks with solving electrical problems with wiring, devices etc? (I think my trike might have some )
Second: Any hints, tips or tricks on getting the engine working period?
Third: Any odd details about the transmission? (I don't really know anything about anything with trikes since this happens to be my first one ) Also, How do the gears shift? (is it push down to go up a gear or push up to go up a gear)
Fourth and final: Any random hints, tips or tricks on restoring a trike period

    Sincerely,
    Justin aka somekidwithanm4

post some pictures so we can see what you are dealing with, then we could go from there. We all know what a 85 110 looks like, but as to the condition of yours, we do not know. As for tips and tricks, patience, and time are the key. What is the problem with the motor? why won't it run?

    The pics

Here's the pics you wanted. Don't panick I took it apart it didn't come like that. The only parts missing are the 2 nuts that hold in the exaust manifold, but that's an easy hardware store find. To check if the electrical is work, i just need to try the spark plug trick with the plug out of the engine, holding it in the dark while trying to start the engine. If there's no spark, then there's either a sparkplug problem, or a wire problem.

The trike itself (the frame if you will)

The right side of the engine. I now believe the electrical is the main problem due to the fact that i just obtained a wiring diagram from Three wheeler world.

The alternator. The pull start on top of this is very gummed up and i am trying to fix it.

One of the 2 wires on the top of the alternator came off. I was thinking of attempting to sauder it back on.

The engine. Note that the block is newer than the rest of the engine. Two owners ago it was replaced.

Deffinately get a manual. The motors in these machines alon with the wiring are pretty simple.

No on the Honda store. They're overpriced.

They don't got the owners manual, but they've got the shop manual. do you think that'd be okay?
And also, i've been lookin' through old photos and everything. I've noticed that my three wheeler while the frame may be that of a 85 110, the plastics, fuel tank and many other parts are not the same of that year and are of some difference. I hope this doesn't interfere with my restoration too much.

I could sell you a whole 110 threewheeler the same as that one.It just needs a motor rebuild because of lack of compression and you can ride it for 10 minuites and it dies.
