1993 KX125 rear master cylinder is a bolt on for the 84-85 Tecate. A longer reservoir hose will need to be used for the reservoir to go in the stock position. The reservoir is smaller and rectangular which will keep your foot from hitting it while kickstarting. The stock rear brake hose will bolt up fine. Here are some pics.

The 93 KX125 also comes with an aluminum master cylinder guard, I'm going to try to pick one of these up and see if it will fit as well. There are rebuild kits available for this master cylinder too.
    Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

While scouring eBay I seen a tecate 87/88 four wheeler shifter and it sure would appear from the pictures to fit up to the 84-86 T-3 machines. Instead of a rounded end, it would be a flatter end.
If this has already been posted, forgive me.

Yes, A Banshee cab works great on a stock tank. It will not fit a clarks tank.
Who said that the Banshee gas petcock will not fit with the airbox on the bike? Did they ever notice that the petcock on a Banshee is on the other side of the bike!! So if you use it on a T3 it be facing forward!!
If you want one that goes strait down then buy the Yamaha 2HR-24500-02

I was the one that originaly gave the tip about the banshee petcock. On the 84-85 you just turn it around so the lever is facing towards the motor. Or if you are handy with machining you can put the brass fitting in the downward or other side outlet and block the orignal side off. There is guy that sometimes pops up on ebay and sells them modified in the downward position, wants like $80 for them though.

Just so its clear. 84-85 Tecate, a Banshee petcock will work just fine and you do not need to install it backwords. 86-87 it will not work at all with a airbox. Or just buy the Yamaha 2HR-24500-02 petcock with the down spout and it will work with all years.

On the 2HR-24500-02 what model bikes does it come on? Does it also have reserve? Is it the same model as the banshee (2GU-24500-02) with spout pointing down instead?

Goodness, in MT the banshee petcock was I think $34 and more than a week out, ouch. Hard to get parts here. "I like that one better too strait down" - The big bear? which one?, so I be sure to get the right one, banshee or big bear glamy?
