Here's a thread I started in regards to replacement rear shocks for Tecate A1's and A2's. I hope to do the swap soon myself and add to this thread with my personal experience.

Ive looked through here a few times, but Ive not seen anything on the front wheel spacers. Im looking for them for a 86 t3. I have 1 spare front axel they seem to be rare too. Need a good swap option.

Bill....Why didn't you just buy a set from Ronnie when he was making them??
I know I have 1 used one in the junk parts box in the basement if you want it.

No problem. You should of snagged the ones Ronnie made. Everything was made of stainless. Beautiful.
Anyway...I've got your address and I'll get it out ASAP. It's got some seal wear on it but you'll easily be able to have a local machine shop punch out a few. Grade school stuff when it comes to machining. In fact...you might want to check with your local middle school, high school or vocational school. Be a good learning experiance for the beginners in metal shop and they usually don't charge much. easy CNC stuff.
Just a thought.

1985 KLF185 quad rear hubs are 13 splined and have a 4/110 hub spacing. These fit on the 84-85 Tecate rear axle. The 87 KLF185 rear hubs are 4/110 as well but look to be splined for the 86-87 Tecate rear axle.

So I just went on ebay and you are right the spines are finer on the 87 hubs .Funny thing is all these ebay seller are selling these hubs 1 by 1 ? They are not giving them away by any means either ! even more funny is the klf 185 "87" hubs they are selling for half the price as the 85 hubs . So basiacly you are looking at almost $100.00 to do this . I figured they would have those hubs for sale for like $10.00 ,I was surprised to see the prices . Can the Tecate guys ever catch a break?![]()
A month or 2 ago there was a few pairs listed with buy it nows for about $10 + $10 shipping. There is an 87 klf hub for $20 w/ $9 in shipping. There's a Nos 85 klf hub for $50 too. These hubs can't be worth $50 a piece used because the klf's barely sell for anything as it is, I'm sure as the spring time comes there'll be more of them for sale at a price worth paying.
So if I am understanding correctly the 86 KX250 Brake calipers are a direct bolt on for the 86 KXT250? Just wondering because I need some brakes on my 86 project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
the calipers are the same, the bracket that holds them is different...
86 tecate front and rear are the same bracket and caliper, also the same on the 87 front but different rear...
