    Need 200X wiring help

I'm trying to remove the Goki electric starer and wiring from my 200X. There is a yellow wire and a black with red stripe wire coming out of the main harness, these are tied into the starter wiring harness and the 2 wires going to the bottom end ignition side of the motor. These wires look like they are fabric covered with one wire being black with red dashes, and one that looks yellow. Can I just cut the starter harness out and wire these 4 wires together? The yellow from the harness going to the yellow going to bottom of the motor (stator cover) and the black with red stripe to the fabric black with red dashes? I'm confused.

Here is a picture: The yellow wire seems to be the only one spliced in.

Thanks in advance for any help.
    Doug

So can anyone tell me if the alternator is in the left side engine case on the bottom with the pickup coil in the cylinder head?

Thank you Howdy, for the diagram. If I can just figure out what part is in the top end and which part is in the bottom end.

    Thanks again guys

    Correct on whats where.
Just wire them together like you said. If it doesnt want to rev you got the crossed.

Wired them together with butt connectors and electrical tape. Runs fine. Thanks guys. Now I need a stator cover to remove the starter housing.
