    thinking of getting me a 350X , is $600 a good deal ?? pics inside

    will be buying this 350X , he is asking $600 for it, here are the pics he sent me .. is it a good deal?? as far as i was told the brakes need work and the plastics are faded but in one piece.. looks to have a lot of rust also.. engine is good , tires are new but one leaks, electrical is good , all its actually missing is a broken tank shroud .. is $600 a good deal ??

    That's not that bad of a deal for that, check the frame for cracks though

    i just called him to close the deal , got it for $550 cash ........ i will have to stop and get a couple of gallons of evaporust ..

    no cracks on the frame, engine was re-built not too long before it was stored ..

    They come in a box or three when you pay under 600 for them everywhere i look. Sounds like a good deal, and i'm sure it will clean up really well, most maier plastics that sat in the sun will look like that, TC...

    Looks like a good deal. I just got a good deal on one myself. There are a lot of naysayers out there thinking that they go for a lot more, and often they do, but if you look, have patience or stumble into the right place, you'll find good deals. They're out there to be had. especially in this slow economy.

    Congats! I built my 85/86 from pieces 2yrs ago. Wouldn't take nothin for it! It has become a great freind. One tip if I may, make sure the decompression system works. It realy helps kicking it over.
