My almost mint 83R floated in about 6' of salt water during hurricane Ike. I had it at my brother in laws shop which he is kind enough to loan me for storage. When we found it a few days later it was upside down. The tank was dented, bars bent, plastics broke and engine seized. I gave it a good pressure washing and tried to oil everything up as best i could ( most of the town was leveled, so i didnt have oil, tools etc handy). When i got home from work today my brother in law was over. He asked if we are going to go on are annual trail ride, which with all the commotion i forgot about. We are suppose to go in two weeks. My first thought was i have to tear into the R. I grabbed my trailer and went over there. I figured i would need to tear into the motor and regrease a bunch but could be ready in no time. When i got over there, everything, i mean everything is locked up.. None of the wheels roll, no cables move, shifter will not budge, steering stem even froze. I will have to do a complete tear down to make her ready ( she will never be mint again ). So, i told this whole story to ask. Does anyone have a good and fast bearing, cable.... everything connection. My people take to long and i only have 9 days. Not worried about the engine i have all those parts on the shelf.
If worse comes to worse i will ride the 87 200x. But i prefer to ride alone and my wife will be with me.

There's nothing like the sound of screaming 2strokes and the smell of race gas in the air
