    20x11x10 Tire?

I'm looking for something with a smooth mild tread. Affordable too. Any suggestions? I'd love Tri-Tracs, but is there something remotely comparable for less in this size? Want something that looks and works good on the new 84 Tecate.

Definitely NOT Holeshots!(sorry....I hate Holeshots on a 3-wheeler even though that is what my '85 Tecate is wearing at the moment).

Look at Duro's HF-245(looks almost just like a Hoosier). Probably more straight line traction than a Hoosier Tri-Trac on most surfaces, a little longer treadlife, and still very loose and slide-able in the turns for a good bit less money.

They get great forward traction, but even aired up to 8 1/2 Lbs. on my Tecate, they get wayyyy too much sidebite for serious sliding. The same was true on an '86 Tri-Z and an '85 250R, but it may just come down to rider preference and riding style.

I personally hate them as much as s.

I'm not sure why DP doesn't like them but I've had great experiences with the Holeshot HD's on my 350X. They are 20", slide, grab and wear very well.....

I ran Turf Tamers on my 250R and wore them out fast!

But, we have rough terrain here.

I'm always up for input though

Sidebite....and tons of it. Like I said, it may come down to riding style, but I like a full blown pitch in the upper gears on various terrain, and Holeshots don't work well at all for me.

Forward motion, sand, grass, etc.....they're great, though. Sideways...I can't stand them. The terrain has to be very loose and somewhat smooth to get a long sideways run without fighting wheel lift, be it front or one of the rear tires.

I run Kenda Dominators on my 84 tecate. I ordered 22's but really wish i ordered the 20's instead. They are super for straight line traction they grab and hold, I couldnt ask for more in that aspect. As for going sideways, they are not as good, but not bad. Id rate them average. Overall id give a 4 out of 5. They were pretty cheap compared to some others at only $61 each. If you are drag racing and want to win and not spin through 4th, I would definatly recommend them.

For pure 'drag racing' I'd go with a tire like Maxxis 4-Snow. Retarded wicked hook up off the start.

    Fast Trekkers

Fast Trekkers are the way to go. Great all around rear tire

Kenda Front Max for the Front and your good to go.

I got Holeshots on my 200x they are a good tire but for the 200X they grab pretty good in the corners my Trekkers slide easier on the Tecate. Both are good tires.

I got the Holeshot XCR-03(Predator) with C series wheels for a steal on egay (109$ shipped) so I plan on trying them out on my new tecate. I ride mainly tight woods so grip is necessary and sliding helps the turns out. So I cant wait to give a write up on these to see how they are..........

    86-87 Tecate ROCK!

Ride fast...........brake late............and Slide the rear!
