And so begains my 250SX buildup.

Just spend $360 for a ton of stuff I needed for it off ebay.

    fresh piston and jug set
    new vavles
complete gasket set including top end
    compelte oil seal kit
    timming chain
    front brake cable
    rear brake cable
    throttle cable
    choke cable
    carb kit
    seat
    air filter
    front brake pads
    rear brake pads
    front fender

    still to come:
    swing arm rebuild kit
rear end rebuild kit (in good shape but why not seals it before it goes bad)
    drive shaft boot
    tank
    rear fenders
    headlight plastic
    tires

Anyone got the parts I'm looking for? if so PM me.

I'll take some detailed pics once I start the work and get going. The SX is supposed to have a good driveline and just needs top end work. We'll see once I get it appart and inspect it.

I know I'll have to rob a couple of parts off the ES but that's minor.

where is the best place to get a rear end rebuild kit? i saw one on egay for $49+shipping but i'm hoping for something a little cheaper.

also who's our resident 250sx/es expert? I'm goig to be pinging them for some questions if they don't mind. this 250Sx build is going to be a 2month project if I can get it done. it's going to be a riding restore meaning i'm not going to pretty everything up to show, but will clean and repaint as needed on the stuff I do work on.
