    250r came back to me

Well I sold it to my friend, and I guess he put about 500 into the bottom end, then another 200 into it, and it still does the same problem... I told him I would buy it back for the same price I sold it to him for if ihe couldnt get it going... one guy was going to buy it without a engine, but NOPE never happened. So he called me today and did the deal.

So, bottom end completely rebuilt. I did it once for him, and he had a shop do it. Same problem, smokes hella and doesnt idle. The throttle cable got **** up and so did the carb, so im going to work on it a bit since I have nothing else to do.

So... guess I have my demon bike back to me. And if it doesnt get fixed... then off it goes for parts

Max price to put into it, is 100 bones.
    Nothing to ride... for now

So the bottom end got rebuilt twice, or am I reading that wrong??

The big problem is smoking and using oil??

It's my opinion that you guys are overlooking something very simple......

I bet I could fix that puppy in a day.

It bothers me to see such a great cheap find go to crap and be given up on.

Yup, I did the bottom end, all new seals and bearings from Honda. Then after that didnt work, he had another spare bottom end that he had a shop do. Same result. I did all the work for free, but he said I messed something up, whatever. The shop either did too, or something else is ****ed up. Looking at it now, a black goop comes out that is as thin as gas, that never happened with me. Mine stuff was thick and grimey.

    Leak down test- Good
    Compression is now- 150psi
    Carb is a 86

I dont mind giving up on it, after all this BS, its a parts machine to me. As I said before. I havent been able to ride it enough to really show great interest in it. With how much he put into it, im surprised he didnt just buy a new engine off ebay.

I fixed it before, but it went to crap after 20-30min... what went to crap? I have no clue. I set my limit for it though and if all fails, its getting parted.

so if its smoking and burning oil, bottom end redone, has good compression, i would check the valve seals.

Make sure the exhaust is not clogged.

the pipe could be clogged, but I am going with either the top end being close to needing a rebuild(150psi?) or the carb has something wrong with it.
