I have a question about higher compressin and gas

93-93 should do it. Add a little octane booster to each tank of gas if you want to be safe.

Then you'll have detenation. If goes on to long you will burn a hole in your piston, lose of performance, and have to rebuild your top end after the piston goes!!

I'm running 87 on my 10.5:1  I know I shouldn't be but its free (from my grandpa's gas stockpile) and I haven't noticed any detonation. I guess I'm lucky.

Should be allright with 87 on dirt roads or gravel. but if you were to ride in sand you would deff need the 93. Just becuse the sand puts more of a load on your motor.
