    Question for the 350X crowd

Just wondering if any of you have dealt with these guys or have heard anything about them? They offer the top end kits for the 350X on ebay. Is this a decent price for what they are offering?

I have dealt with them a couple times. I have never bought that particular item from them but everything I have bought has been great and they shipped way quick..... hope that helps some; oh and it does look like a nice price!

Thanks for the input. It does look like a great price. Mine really isn't in dire need of a rebuild but for that price, i might just go ahead and do it.

I've had good luck from them too in the past. My only concern is if you received a cylinder that was on it's last overbore. I don't know if there is any way to control that.

I'm in the process of dealing with them right now with a 350x rebuild. I sent my cylinder to them, they machine that one and send it back, I thought it might have been an exchange program to, but doesn't sound like it, for the 350x atleast. I shipped him the cylinder on march 4th and I'm expecting it anyday.

Am also getting a 350 head done. I was quoted $180 for a 350 head which included, blasting it, new valves, regrind head, check specs on valve guides and springs, new seals and finally vaccumme testing to make sure everything is sealed.

i dont think its a screaming deal, it sounds about right to me as far as price.

cheap ebay gaskets, local bore job, new piston can be had for cheaper but not much.

100 bucks for a piston, 30 bucks for a bore, 30 bucks for a gasket kit.

notice you're only at 160 bucks...

Thanks for the input guys. I'll check with some local shops and see how much they would charge to bore it around here. Not many machine shops like that left around her anymore. Cycle shops want an arm and a leg for any kind of work they perform.

I thought the ebay forum was for selling or buying postings from Ebay. Sorry, i didn't realize this had to go there.

This thread isn't about Ebay, though. I just wanted input on the cost and quality of someones work. It just so happenes they use ebay to sell their service.

Do a compression check. If the motor runs great, doesn't smoke, ect. I would just run it. No need to waste money on a rebuild if it doesnt need it. Honda motors run forever with even the basic maintenance.

I think its a good deal going on this info. In dennis kirk just the top end gasket set from vesrah is $52. Wiseco 10.25:1 piston $132. So thats $184 total. That leaves $25 for labor to clean and bore. Shipping for me was about $14 each way which sucks, but the work did get done faster than if my local guy did it. Maybe the piston and gasket set is available cheaper somewhere else? If so point me in the direction.

I'm assuming the gaskets in the pic are vesrah. I ordered a cheap kit once and it didn't have that large o ring for the bottom of the cyclinder, this vesrah complete kit I just bought to do this rebuild did have it.

I agree 100%, I think they are a little high in price. But then I can get my personal stuff at wholesale.

Well I know here between 3 local shops, they all want $50 for the first bore, don't even ask about bigbores. The price gets stupid quick.
