Painting 84 250r...which paint to match Maier?

The paint used on 1upfronts tank and frame is a dupont single stage urethane, Chroma One . It is torch red from a 57' T-Bird. There were many torch reds used over the years but not all used the same formula so the colors would be a little different. Originally they were cleaning out the left over paint from the paint cabinet at work and there was about half a quart of that paint that was going to the recycler and I snagged it. It looked real close to me and when I got it home and checked it out it was as close as I've ever seen. We've had more mixed up since. It always seems to match well. I guess there are a few benefits to working in a bodyshop after all.

Do you happen to have the paint code? I had some mixed up for a t bird torch red and it’s not even close. Thanks for the help! Sorry to open an old thread but I’m pulling my hair out trying to find a match. I would have it scanned if the corona virus didn’t have everything shut down...... thanks again

Well did you ever find a color to match it? Daddo isn’t on here very much anymore
