I've never had any luck with chrome brake rotors. The chrome will come flaking off or only flaked off in spots and it usually causes the rotors to grab unevenly. To each their own though.

you never want to put anything inbetween the rotor and pad. nothing! this is a safety hazard doing so no mater what you do.

I was considering these guys. http://www.chromeprosplating.com/ Seems like they know what they're doing.
I see no reason that chroming the rotors would be detrimental *unless* the chrome started peeling.
I just want something to keep the rotors from rusting as my Tecate sits out in the weather quite often.
